It looks like the wonderful sport of nutball is having another moment in the spotlight. Plucked from obscurity by Johnny Knoxville and his buddies in a season 3 episode of Jackass in 2001, Nutball has garnered fans around the globe.

Maybe the surge in popularity is due to the fact that a game of "face ball" on the UK edition of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! quickly goes south. There are some great nutshots in the clip, and I love the fact that everybody has a great time watching. Nutball is a spectator sport!
Inspired by that, the hosts of the show, comedy duo Ant & Dec have a little reprise in the tree house.
In the world of Achievement Hunter, nutball has different names like "junk ball" or "flinchless moony doo", and after a brief but glorious clip in 2014 they returned to this wonderful sport in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Here is the original clip from 2014 (I'm pretty sure I have featured it on this site previously, but I don't now for sure...).
And here is the 2018 clip with nutshots at 0:55, 3:25 and 6:00.
In 2019 they played it with a twist: nutball in the dark! "Stealth ball" had nutshots at 1:35, 2:30, 4:18.
