This is a short little story inspired by the image below created my my friend Champ.

Taye clenched his eyes shut and let out a hoarse, raspy cough. Just a second ago, he had been fine. His mind had been wandering, as it often did on the baseball field. He was a good pitcher, and he knew it. Keeping your head in the game was severely overrated, Taye thought.

He was having second thoughts about that, now…

Of the three BallbustingBoys.org Original Videos published so far, "Sexy Santa" is in third place when it comes to the number of copies sold. It did make it into the clips5sale ballbusting TOP 5, climbing to #3 in the first week after its release, but it dropped out of the TOP 40 pretty soon, much sooner that its predecessors "Sacktapping 101" (which made it to #1) and "You bet your balls, bro!" (which made it to #2).

Frankly, I think "Sexy Santa" is the best clip so far, the most fun and the most original, so I'm a little baffled by its (relative) lack of commercial success.

(Yes, I know, I shouldn't be complaining. It was a successful release, and I have every reason to be happy about it. But still...)

So maybe you can help me out. You know how much I value your feedback, and I would love to hear your opinion.

If you haven't bought the clip: Why didn't you? Are you tired of our clips? Is one clip per month too much? Did you take issue with the Christmas theme? Were the trailers not as alluring as those for the other clips?

And if you have bought it: Did you enjoy it? And what about it did you enjoy most?

I would love to know your opinion so that we can learn from our mistakes and adjust our creative process (our planned Easter special is very much in doubt...) or our publishing schedule - or maybe just accept that some clips will sell better than others...

My friend Champ has created this beautiful piece of art and he kindly allowed me to publish it here on the blog. I love his work, and this particular image is no exception.

The following little story is inspired by Champ's image.
