Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lateness but it just squeaks in on this Friday evening. Reg, I have not even had a chance to email you, I'm so sorry about that but man your edits are spot on. Readers Reg really gets Chase, and the relationship between him and Jayden. It's a pleasure to read his words. Reg even thought that the original story deserved a second part, and a huge part of this story was all his idea. Thank you, Reg as always, and to all you lovely readers....I hope that you enjoy.
How
Do You Measure Up, Bro?
Part 2 of 2
Written By Jimmy and Reg
The sunlight dances across Chase’s vanity in his bedroom
the bright lights reflecting on Jayden’s naked torso like twinkling fireflies
on a Sunday evening in summer. The young boy is nervous, and Chase can see it
by looking into his dark jet-black pupils, ringed by the merriest hints of
brown mahogany. Jayden slowly falls backwards in a graceful arc to the ocean of
pillows below, his eyes of coal never leaving Chase’s as he stares deep into
Chase’s ocean eyes that remain calm with the mischievous twinkle that he knows
so well now.
“Relax Jayden, it’s safe.”
Licking his lips Jayden considers his response, his eyes
momentarily staring at Chase’s bedpost where his red Bartlet jacket hangs.
“It’s not that.”
“Then what, pray tell, makes you so nervous?” Chase grins
slipping his shirt off above his head, then pins one of Jayden’s arms to the
bed, his back bathed in the light and sparkling. Chase’s chiseled shoulders and
chest cast a dark shadow over the younger boy and Chase licks his teeth like a
lion about to devour his prey.
“I’m not…nervous,” Jayden
lies, twisting his vision back to Chase’s face in a defiant demeanor, his chin
set and locked in place.
