The B Factor - Season 2: Elimination poll #4

With the third contestant eliminated because his balls weren't tough enough, we move on to the next round. This week's question is: Who is most likely to be a secret follower of this blog?

Vote for your favorites (more than one answer is possible) in our new poll which closes on Tuesday. If you are reading this post on your computer you find the poll in the right column of this blog. If you are reading this post on your mobile device you find the poll at the bottom of this page.

The contestant with the fewest votes will be eliminated and punished for his loss.

Just a suggestion, but, if Chris Pratt were to lose, do you think you could give him a story with Permanent Damage? Since he's anti-LGBT and supports Trump, I feel like he deserves permanent damage more

On a personal note, just because someone belongs to a church that supposedly has some bad habits from the long past will not become anti-LGBTQ+. And the fact that we think of them as a Trump supporter is not so realistic, but rather a generalization. This witch-hunt is not fair to religious people, not all of them are the same, just as non-religious people are not the same.

That being said, when it comes to Chris Pratt, I’m down for everything because he’s insanely hot and typically a guy who I think might be interested in ballbusting. :=)

Dear Anonymous,

I hear you. I was not aware of how Chris Pratt felt about LGBTQIA+ people now it's clear to me. I am advocating if we can replace him on this list, and in the future if we can have celebrities disqualified in the future are that are either homophobic or racist they should be removed, we have better choices.

Dear Jason,

You are correct Chris Pratt is not overtly homophobic but his church is and that's not a deal breaker for him. This fact shows that he is an ableist, which may not be as bad as an overt homophobe it is just as damaging in keeping homophobic policies in place and should not be tolerated.
The concept that religions should be exempt because not all religions are homophobic showcases that again religions are okay with some forms of homophobia; which cannot be tolerated.
There are plenty of churches that celebrate diversity, people of color, and all sexualities. Chris Pratt's church is not one of those places and their continued existence hurts lgbtqia+ people.

Sincerely,

Jimmy

Pratt said this:

“It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.’ Nothing could be further from the truth,” he wrote. “I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone. Despite what the Bible says about divorce, my church community was there for me every stop of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk. They helped me tremendously offering love and support. It is what I have seen them do for others on countless occasions regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender.”

If people are annoyed by Pratt's presence in the game, they shouldn't vote for him. He is Bottom 3 right now, and he has been in the lower tier of the list in the last couple of times. It's not impossible to imagine it's his last round.

I'm with Jimmy on this one. It's easy enough to *say* you're not anti-LGBTQ, but the church's leaders have been pretty clear, perhaps clearer than they intended. In a blog post from five years ago, the founder of Hillsong said this:

“Hillsong Church welcomes ALL people but does not affirm all lifestyles. Put clearly, we do not affirm a gay lifestyle and because of this we do not knowingly have actively gay people in positions of leadership, either paid or unpaid.”

He also characterized the issue as a "discussion" with two sides, suggesting that both sides are equally valid and that questioning our freedom to be with whoever we choose is perfectly reasonable.

They also frequently talk about pre-marital Sex being sinful, and since they don't affirm marriages outside of a very limited definition, that makes non-heterosexual sex always sinful.

Chris Pratt continues to signal his support for that organization by continuing to attend - and probably financially as well, since churches rely on donations from their congregation to continue functioning, and Charismatic Megachurches like this one take that to extremes.

Thank you Chad!

We have to stand strong against homophobia and all people that support those practices. I do recognize that this is a contest, and it puts those creating it in a tough position. I am sorry for that. I did not know of Chris Pratt's views or I would have voiced them earlier. Now that they have been brought to my attention I will make sure to never watch or support any of his films in the entertainment industry. Most of the time the only way to make change is to be loud, and to deny them money.

Sincerely,

Jimmy

If this is true then I second the call for him to have his nuts removed from him.
It’s a shame that Chris Evans isn’t in this list, as he’s made it pretty clear that he supports all lifestyles repeatedly, and it’d have been rather fun to see Cap ruin Pratt. As it is he might just need to enlist Hemsworth to kick them into nothingness.
