Danny closed the door behind him. His brother wasn’t home, but he was
not going to take any chances. He locked the door and sat down at the
kitchen table.
He inhaled deeply and dialed the number on his phone. A few seconds passed before his call was answered.
“Tonight’s the night”, Danny said in a low voice. “Usually, he takes a
nap before going out. He’ll be asleep by 7 o’clock. You have one hour. I
won’t be home to let you in but there’ll be a key under the doormat. I
want you to make sure that he won’t enjoy his date, if you know what I
mean. And he can’t know that I have anything to do with this. Make it
look like a home invasion burglary. Good luck.”
Danny ended the call and leaned back, closing his eyes. His body was shaking. It was time for revenge…
