We were sitting on the couch in the studio.

Casting Nate

Note: Nate has already had his first appearance on this site in Easter egg hunt. A few weeks before that I had invited him for a casting session.

I gulped.

Nate smiled. “I’m here to audition…”

I had prepared everything for a nice Easter themed party in German tradition: nice, old-fashioned wicker baskets filled with bright green, artificial grass and a variety of coloured hard-boiled eggs, chocolate eggs and jelly eggs were spread around our studio, with chocolate Easter Rabbits guarding them, and I had even baked a cake in the shape of a lamp. It looked outright bizarre. Next to the cup there was a metal spoon and above the picture a small writing read “Happy Easter!”

I pointed at the t-shirt and grinned at Tristan. “Custom-made?”

“Nah”, Tristan replied. “I bought it on the internet. But I bought it just for today… Like it?”

I laughed. “Yeah…”
