Logan's high school diary 5: Wednesdays suck (revisited)

Since more than half of our readers discovered this blog less than five years ago I thought it would be nice to re-introduce some older stories for those who didn't catch them when they were first published. Enjoy!

It’s been a little while since I had received a video from Logan. A while ago, the 18 year old high school wrestler had started a video diary, chronicling the adventures of him and his friends at Josiah E. Bartlet High. I just noticed the high school is almost named for President Bartlet. Oh that is fantastic.

Thanks for your comment, shrews12001! Of course the school is named for President Bartlet - I can't believe I got the spelling wrong ALL THOSE YEARS! LOL! What does that say about my education? I guess that wouldn't have happened had I gone to Bartlet High... :-))

(Being the nerd that I am, I went through all the stories mentioning Bartlet High and corrected the spelling... It's correct now...)

Well I did go down the rabbit hole on it. President Josiah Bartlet is a direct reference to a real person. When writing West Wing Sorkin changed the spelling while making the president a descendant of the actual Josiah Bartlett, governor of New Hampshire and a signatory of the Declaration of Independence. There is almost certainly a school somewhere actually named for Josiah Bartlett.
