The Juvenile Hall Thief: Knock, knock…
by Jimmy
Getting closer to Sam Hells street Silas Dark sniffs
the cool night air, freedom tastes so sweet even among the scattering of nearby
cookouts in the early summer heat. Silas Dark amuses himself with images of Sam
Hell in front of him pleading with his ugly red eyes when he spots a shifting
running individual. He’s shirtless and running proudly, sweat above his brow
but Silas would know that frown from anywhere: it’s the Devilboy himself.
“Keep going,” Silas snarls to the thief. “I want to
get there before he returns and give him a tasteful surprise when he gets
there. A little… housewarming gift.”
“Anything you say, but I want to hurt the brat.”
“That you will thief that you will.”
Cruising along a nearby street, the thief pulls along
until they fall under the shadow of a large pine and cuts the engine. The car
takes a moment to cool off, the engine still buzzing.
“Now let’s go.”
Doors open and shut, and the pair walk side by side.
Silas Dark wears a mask, like the thief but he made sure to put in his
contacts. His eyes are pitch black like midnight and he wants this to be the
last image that Sam Hell sees before he destroys him, making him kneel in front
of him.
“Back door,” Silas Dark tells the thief. “They will be
under the mat, my contact has informed me.”
“Perfect, I’ll kill the power…like before.”
Silas Dark says nothing as he creeps along to the back
and finds the key in the exact spot the back door right off the kitchen. The
father, Will Brady is drinking a glass of amber liquid, cards are in front of
him and the boy is in front of him smiling as he places his hand down.
“Not so fast son,” Will Brady says as Bill moves in to
take the pot.
Bill frowns “You can’t beat three jacks.”
“My full house begs to differ.” Smoothly Will Brady
lays the cards down and Bills eyes widen as Will Brady takes every last chip
leaving him with nothing. He clearly went all in and lost.
“You always win.” Bill says, smiling. “What is your
prize this time?”
“Hmm I think you taking out the trash for the month
sounds good.”
Bill groans and stands up, “Fine. But next time I will
beat you.”
“You know where I keep my cards, anytime my boy.”
Bill is stripping off his shirt as he heads deeper in
the house shouting over his shoulder “I’m gonna take a shower.”
“It’s a school night so go to bed after!” Will causes after
him.
While Will Brady clears the table, Silas Dark slowly
slides the key into place each teeth click is faint and close to silent. When
the key is all the way inside the lock the lights blink once and go out.
“What the hell?!” Will says standing.
At the same time Silas Dark turns the key, getting
ready to push in the door he waits a moment longer until Will Brady’s back is
turned and slowly swings it open.
The creak makes Will pause and when he pauses, turning
back to face Silas Dark his eyes widen as a white cloth covers his mouth and
nose.
“Nighty night, Daddy,” Silas Dark whispers as he holds
his hand tightly over Wills face. Will Brady bucks, and swings hitting Silas in
the stomach with a punch that forces him back.
Will Brady stumbles into the table and somewhere in
the house Bill calls out “Dad, the powers off.” The faint sound of water
dripping grows louder as Silas imagines the bathroom door opening and Bill
calling out, down the stairs dressed in a towel or less, completely vulnerable
for what is about to happen to him.
Silas Dark leaps at him, taking him to the ground and
reapplying the towel.
Again, Will Brady fights back his knee firing straight
up into Silas’s groin, it’s not a perfect strike but the force of it pushes him
back enough for Will to boot him barefoot in the face.
Silas Dark lands on his back, and curses as Will Brady
stumbles, staggering to his feet coughing and spluttering. He will be out soon,
but now fast enough.
Will Brady grabs the bat, unseen by Silas Dark and
swing it up and down.
Silas’s eyes widen and he barely rolls away as the bat
smashes the tiles, cracks forming like a spider’s web from where he struck.
Just as Silas is standing up, Will hits him hard in the middle the bat crushing
his ribs as Will shoved him forces him through the doorway and into the
hallways where the two combatants fall together in a huff.
“Dad…what was that?” Bill is closer than before,
coming down the stairs by the sounds of it. Maybe he will get a chance to see
what Silas will do to him.
Silas’s stolen air from his crushed and bruised ribs
make him pause, but only for a moment. Will Brady is growing slower and he
reaches for the bat, but Will surprises him still awake enough to punch him in
the teeth.
Crack!
Silas Darks head bounces off the floor, and dazed Will
Brady wobbles to his feet and he tries to speak but his words are gibberish as
he tries to call out to his son.
“Dad?” Bill is in the room next door but he is
hesitant, clearly fearful of what noises are happening beyond. “Are you…okay?
Say something or I will—-ah!”
Bill screams, it’s quick but over just as quickly the
thief must have entered the fray. Silas Dark longs to be in that room, to see
what he is doing but he must get up Will Brady is still not down yet, the
stubborn son-of-a-bitch.
Silas Dark kicks out hitting Will Brady’s ankles and
he topples backwards the bat flying from his hands hitting the window and
cracking. It rolls out of sight but Silas in on top of him now applying the
cloth and sitting on his chest.
“Time to sleep,” Silas Dark informs him but as he
holds the cloth still he feels no more resistance. The father is finally out of
the fight.
Silas Dark binds his wrists with duct tape and drags
him to a nearby wall and secured him there with by tapping his mouth shut, and
applying a set of zip ties which he hooks to his wrists, and then a nearby door
handle making sure that he won’t escape.
Standing up he hears footsteps and those are from one
much smaller than the thief. The kid must have gotten away. He must deal with
that before he gets to a phone.
Silas Dark flies from the room, spots the thief
hunched over and holding his privates like a child.
“Fool,” Silas curses as he passes by him and hurried
up the stairs, its dark but the fallen towel and more importantly the wet foot
prints lead him what he guesses is the kids bedroom.
He barges inside and sees the faint glow of something
as prongs hit him right below his belly button and his eyes widen in alarm as
an electrical charge courses through him straight into his balls.
Silas Dark quivers while standing and Bill, naked
holding the stun gun watches in amazement as it sizzles and tortures the man in
front of him.
He falls before he realized what had happened closing
his eyes, the sensation of burning white pulsation ricocheting through his
manhood before he blessedly passes out.
—————————————————————-————————————-—————
Bill moments before…
The water flows through his hair, wetting it instantly
and Bill closes his eyes spitting out water underneath the streaming overhead
shower head falling on him. The water is hot, and blissful and Bills eyes are
closed as he thinks of nothing but the sensation of his scalp from the water
hitting him and rolling down his body.
He reaches for a bar of soap, spitting out water again
when everything goes dark.
Bills eyes snap open and he instantly calls out “Dad?”
He waits for a beat, a shiver running down his spine
despite the heat from the water. Bill slowly turns off the water and calls out
again standing very still and shivering as he grabs a towel and dries his face.
“Dad?”
Still nothing.
He steps out of the shower, dripping water all over the
floor not even bothering to fully dry himself.
When he opens the bathroom door he hears a bang coming
from the kitchen.
“Dad?”
Bills heart thumps loudly in his chest and he wishes
that he did not leave his phone down stairs to charge. He left his own charger
at the pool, and he is using his fathers but he would never allow it to leave
the kitchen as his Dad always tells him: “Once it enters your room, it’s lost.
So it stays here.”
Bill slowly descends the stairs calling out for his
father again.
“Dad?”
His voice is quieter this time, and he feels scared.
Bill already knows deep down that things are not as they seem. He knows that
they are not alone.
“Dad?” his voice is a whimper as the banging and the
crashing get louder. A fight is happening in the hallways and Bill has no idea
who is winning but if his Dad was he would answer him, Bill knows this.
He turns to run and hide, or leave through the front
door and get help when there before him is the thief. The mask is on, but it’s
the same one as Bill and Bill calls out again, this time it turns into a
scream.
The thief grabs his face, shushing him and squeezing
him in a bear hug.
“I got you now, you little shit.”
The voice is angry, and scary. He’s breathing all over
Bills face and his teeth are bared as he crushes his arms into his ribs. Bill
can’t breathe and he lifts up his knee as the towel falls, the man can’t quite
hold him, he’s too slippery.
Bill strikes a blow right in between his spread legs
and the thief freezes and moans, and Bill recognizes that sound. He knows that
he got him good. Bill hits him with another and shoved him off and as he
stumbles Bill kicks him right in the same spot, hearing a wet crunch as his
foot finds its marks.
He collapses to his knees and Bill grabs his towel
hurrying away and it gets caught on the railing halfway up the stairs but Bill
does not stop as he runs down the hallways knowing exacting where his father’s
stun gun is and from all the practice he has been given how to use it.
Bill closes his father’s bedroom door, taking it out
of the box. Will Brady keeps it next to his bedroom in a drawer. He fumbles
with it for a moment but promises himself that he will shoot it as soon as the
door to the bedroom opens. He stands naked, cold but alert as someone comes up,
running. Bill swallows hard, his heart threatening to come right out of his
chest as the door opens.
He does not hesitate and fires, and Bill always goes
for the same targets.
He hits him perfectly and watches him dance for a
moment rigged and jumping before he falls to the floor.
Bill stops and drops the used stun gun. It takes too
long to reload, and Bill wants out of the house. But not naked.
He grabs his Dad favorite button door off the desk
chair pulling it on, it comes down to his knees and Bill figures, that’s good
enough.
Bill approaches the second thief slowly, Bill can tell
the difference this is the scarier one. The one names Silas Dark.
He’s still and not moving.
“Fuck you, asshole,” Bill swears as he slowly steps
over him. He sighs in relief when nothing happens and his other foot lands on
the other side. Bill starts to run down the hallway but the first one that he
kicked in the nuts in standing at the top of the landing and Bill freezes in
tracks. He has two choices: his bedroom or Sam’s.
He also knows that no phone is in either. Sam Hell has
his on the run, and his is downstairs. He ducks into his own room, and locks
the door. It’s a twist lock. It’s flimsy. One good kick should knock it down,
but Bill hopes that he has enough time.
Bill rushes to his closet and goes inside closing the
door and reaches into the far back hopping that the battery is still charged,
that he will still answer and that his is still on.
“Jayden, its Bill. Do you hear me?” Bill says into the
old walkie talkie. His heart thuds in his chest and he backs up to the back of
the closet, using the hanging clothes to slightly hide himself.
“Jayden…are you there?” Bill whispers into it as the
door knob to his bedroom rattles.
“Jayden, please?” Bill begs. “Answer.”
Static.
Nothing but static.
Bill closes his eyes, curses himself as his bedroom
door flies open.
Bill stays perfectly still as the thief steps inside.
“Where are you hiding?” the thief calls out.
Bill gulps, and covers his mouth with the walkie.
Slowly the thief comes over to the bed and gives it a
good kick. When nothing happens he moves right to the closet.
Bill lifts the walkie talkie up ready to use it as a
weapon, and wishes that he had time to put on a pair of pants as the door
opens.
“Bill?” Jayden says into the walkie.
“Jayden!” Bill screams his name and hits the thief in
the head or at least he tries to. The thief catches it and yanks him out of the
closet and grabs him by the throat and slams him into the wall.
The walkie talkie clatters to the floor and smashes
into four pieces. Broken. Useless.
“I got you now!” The thief growls.
Bill’s feet are dangling as he is lifted far up and
off the floor, his kicks hit the thief’s belly and chest but seem not to bother
him in the slightest.
He’s choke-slammed onto his bed moments later and
comes up gasping. The thief grabs one wrist and clicks it to the bed frame.
“You have hand cuffs on your bed? You naughty little
brat.”
Bill fights him, but it’s useless and soon his other
hand is cuffed and lastly the thief shoves an old sock into his mouth and he’s
breathing in the odor of his feet as he stares up at the thief. He’s smiling
down at Bill, grinning in victory.
“I got you” the thief says as he leans in and grabs
Bills throat, not squeezing but holding. He’s showing off now, and Bill knows
it. “You’re in my web brat, and now it’s time for payback. It’s gonna be a
bitch.”
To be continued….

Damn!
Awesome story Jimmy.
And now i have all these questions racing around my head...
1.Who is the thief? Seems to be someone we know...someone that has bad blood with Bill. I can't work it out
2. We know Silas is hard as nails, but having a dart pierce his tough testicles then having them fried with 1200 volts is not a pleasant start to his evening haha. This will be a test of character for the big guy for sure, i love it when tough bad guys keep coming back for more!
3. What will Jayden do? He's not on best terms with Bill but when justice calls....
4. Sam Hell is on his way too! Not exactly BFF with Jayden....How will that play out?
5. Will the thieves get their shit together in time ? They seem to be outnumbered now. Will Mr Brady have a chance to show off his ball breaking skills?
OMG, too many questions, it's such a nail biter, not sure I can endure until the next chapter.
Please no spoilers! It's such a great setup.

Hi Reg,
Thanks for writing in, and I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed this one my friend!
1). The thief is someone you know, and I won't give any spoilers to that.
2). Yeah, Bill was kicking butt for a hot second...not at the moment though.
3). That is the question. Will Jayden come to Bill's rescue? They are not on friendly terms at all.
4). You will see on this score. : )
5). They did not have the best start after taking out Will Brady... but he is tied up...for now.
I hope that you enoy the next one!
Jimmy
Nice story.
Darker than usual but we like it dark and mean at times !
I can't wait to see what's next !
Dear Anonymous,
Yes, the story is a lot darker in tone. I have a few of those like when we met Chase's Fmaily, or when Jayden was seperated from his family, or Thief stories. An element of danger, or high stakes can be exciting to write. Happy to hear that you enjoyed this one!
Sincerely,
Jimmy
