Ten years ago to the day I published the very first post on this blog.
Unbelievable, right?
And what a great ten years it has been!
Thanks to all the guest writers who have inspired me and kept this blog alive whenever I suffered from writer's block!
Thanks to my friend Champ who created all those wonderful character portraits that we unveiled this year!
And, of course, thank you, my dear readers! Thank you so much for your continued support, your suggestions and your ideas, your comments and your emails! Without you, this blog wouldn't exist!

ReplyDeleteThis is probably too graphic but hey, anonymity ahoy! but ten years ago I was just discovering myself as a sexual being. Literally. I was just plunged into the sea of puberty when I came upon your blog and, one thing led to another, and orgasmed. And since then I've looked every in on this blog so often (got a boyfriend hooked on it, so, one other reader of yours is brought by me, your welcome), and was always comforted to know it's still kicking. Here's to ten more years!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your site's anniversary, man! Very seriously, I definitely believe you have the best quality m/m story site, and always have. I came up and first found ballbusting online way back during Kramtoad days, and to me, your site is as iconic, impactful, sexy and of legitimate quality as that original site ever was, and then some. And I mean that. You have elevated the game, man, with what you've created here and continue to develop and it's mattered so much to me as a reader and closet buster, bust also as an artist. The opportunity you've given me personally to be part of something so amazing is not lost on me--and I think about how amazing it would have been for me as a teen coming up, to have a site like yours, with stories and clips and illustrations... and it's a real honor man. I know I've been in an out as far as visibility, but I have always made it a point to stay on the in with you, because of how much everything you do matters.
So thanks man, and congrats again! I'm so stoked you love my art so much, that others also love it--it's given me permission to really take pride in it and myself in a way that wasn't possible before.
