Back again

Hi there! I hope you missed me... :-))

I had a wonderful vacation and I've had quite a few ideas for new stories.

I'll try and give you a new post every day for the rest of the month to make up for my vacation. This is what I have planned:

Tomorrow and the day after that, you'll get to know the 16 guys that will compete against each other to become a model for our website in the Auditions story.

Then there will be some more parts of the Office vendetta story, culminating in a fight between me and Chad, and another episode of Sammy the ball doctor featuring the loser of said fight.

The One on one series will continue with Danny and David vs. the twins, Kev vs. Nate, Zach vs. David (the rematch), and Sammy vs. Parker. I'm working on Ben and David Kev (sorry, my mistake...) vs. the twins, and I hope I'll be able to publish it this month, too.

Then, of course, there will be the Soccer balls 2 competition and the first episode of the Role play series.

And those are just the stories that I have already finished...

High kicks
Okay, today it's the last day that we spend looking back. Beginning tomorrow, there will be fresh and new stories.
Today's story marks the first appearance of the character of David, Danny's brother, a professional dancer and amateur asshole.
I know many of you like David and his cocky attitude. This month, David will get company. Another mean character is going to get introduced in the Auditions story.

Casting Jesid
In a poll in January it was decided that Jesid was going to be the next guy to get cast. His casting session included some valuable help from Leo and Tristan (whose character gets introduced here). It’s the first story I wrote that included actual sex.
The character of Jesid didn’t last long. He made his last appearance just two weeks later and I don’t think I’m gonna bring him back unless I happen to have a brilliant idea for him.

The workshop
This story introduces the character of George, although it took some time for him to make his second appearance. I always liked him, and initially I thought about making him a recurring guest. But since nobody reacted to him, I didn’t pursue that thought. Then, a couple of months later, a reader suggested to have him come back.
The story features a couple of props that are used to bust some balls. I’m not entirely happy with it, because there are a few things I should have written another way. But I still like the premise…

And the winner is...
This Oscar party themed story was a little experiment. I set the parameters one day before the ceremony by assigning a couple of movies to every guy and publishing the roster before the ceremony started (The nominees). The next day, I wrote the story as the ceremony unfolded. There were a couple of surprises and a couple of expected wins, and it was great fun for me to write this story, especially since I had no influence on the outcome of it all.
It was really hard work, too, because I wanted to publish the story as soon as possible but, naturally, I couldn't write anything beforehand...

I know, I've only just published the last part of it one month ago, but the first part was published on the 29th of December, 2007, the second one on the 20th of February, 2008, so I really kept you waiting for quite some time...
I know that a couple of you don't like this story at all. And a couple of others love it. The characters - and to some extend the plot - were based on suggestions by a reader way back in December, right after I started writing. I haven't been able to get in contact with him since, so I don't know if he still reads this blog.
The reason I ended this story - and gave the two protagonists some kind of "Happily ever after" ending - was that I ultimately didn't like the "I get a video and tell you what I see" style. I do use that device now and then, but somehow I've come to find it increasingly clumsy. That's why it took so long to write the third part...
Nevertheless, I like both of the protagonists, and I guess some character traits have found their way into other characters as well...

This is a little story featuring Kev, Ben and Colin from the leadup to The Ballbasting Olympics. I like the cheerful viciousness of all the characters involved, and I still think that it's kind of fun.

The menu – Intro to bbb.org
It’s the center piece of a four part story featuring Danny and the twins. It was one of the first stories I wrote after the initial castings and it was posted on the 20th of December, 2007. I played around with a couple of corny one-liners, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea... It remains one of my favourite stories, though...
